The view out of my HubPages world

Everyone is joining the wagon. The hush-hush around the writers'  grapevine is echoing around the world and even extending it on the outer space. Correct me if I'm wrong. Men in Black (MIB) are investigating as to why inquiring minds are magnetized on the HubPages World and made decisions ranging from making this site their haven. Is it a boon or bane to us all. There must be some of kind of virus emanating from this virtual writing community that contaminated our minds and solely concentrate on propagating informative hubs after hubs and never look back to the past blogging sites we used to stay and clamor to have more followers and admirers. Is this some kind of blessing or just another trick in the cyberworld? No offense meant to the brainchild of this site, Mr. Paul Edmondson. HIs staff and technical employees are improving this concept for the past four years. And new features are being introduced to make writing easier. Choosing the right title and writing rich-text documents that will help provide additional information for the years to come.

I'm kind of a skeptic-type when I filled up the empty spaces asking for my personal identity and e-mail address in order to join this writing site. I said to myself, I'm gonna give it a try. If others can write many hubs in a day, I can also be like them. A writer of substance or a complex human being with a goal to be recognized in this virtual writing world. The metamorphosis of my identity will start here.

I'm imagining myself to be a caterpillar, perusing every account of the more seasoned hubbers as if I'm searching for a more green, fresh leaves that I can chew or follow. I'm just adsorbing ther techniques and surely, I can create an identity of my own.

I can be:

  1. Critic Hubber - Giving rants after rants about issues that affect our lives as this world rotates.
  2. Cool Hubber - Jotting flowery words to captivate my followers and admirers.
  3. Great Hubber - Gaining respect because of the hubs I'm publishing that affect most of the hubber.
  4. Chameleon Hubber - I can be cool, I can be a critic and I can be great whichever level I would like to portray.

Healthwise, I will be sleeping late in early morning for I have hubs to complete and publish. Concentration is a must, even though I was still watching television while doing this. Multi-tasking, huh?! The left part of my brain is always making an effort to complete this. It shows on my hair turning some strands into a sliver of shining, but itchy whites. I don't mind. Ideas seem to flow each time I tap the computer's keyboard.

Of Successes and Failures

Failures are for those who will join this site. Successes will be synonymous with the rewards that hubbers will get as they publish sensible hubs on HubPages.

This is a user-friendly site that if you're still a neophyte, you can join the Forums for help from more seasoned hubbers.

You can join the HubMob to develop weekly topical topics that will attract more readers and gain more attention from the HubPage Elites.

A 30-Day Hub Challenge or the 60 Day Hub Challenge will be your choice of endurance if your longevity suits your stay on Hubpages.

If you want to discuss something interesting, you can ask a Question and gain answers from fellow hubbers.

There are lots of topics to write, ranging from Health themes, Travel & Places, Foods, Religions, Politics, Pets & Animals, Environment and many more.

I know sooner but not later, there will be a published book on HubPages Almanac that will interest everyone (it's my suggestion anyway) or encylopedic compilation of great, critic and cool hubs that graced the site for the past years. It can be an e-book or hard-bounded  books that will be added to our collections. The Blogs,  Academia, HP Contests, HubNuggets , HubCamps...all copyrighted by HubPages will be included, too.

I can really say that HubPages is transforming at a tremendous speed, becoming one of the top 50 sites in the US alone. As the calendar pages turn into 2011, new layout suprised me. It's more daring that you just can't ignore the positive changes it bring to the writers.

Although, activating some of the affiliates can be tiresome (eBay is the one  getting me crazy. I still have to buy a domain, though!), Google AdSense will allow you to use your ingenuity to manage several account on writing. Amazon? Why is that they never give my commission? I may still activate my Kontera account. With Google AdSense, I'm beginning to be satisfied, although a 40 percent commission is a good sharing that HP is rewarding every hubber.

I tried searching my few hubs. And lo! The Search Engine Optimization (SEO) put my hubs on the first page of the Search results. Truly, I'm on the right tract.

I may pause for a while. I think, I'm draining my thoughts. It's already past 1 in early morn.

 I'm taking an early snack.

Hubpages? It's a boon for me!

How about you? Speak up, please!

HubPages is a boon for me. Although, some may say it's a scam ( a very grave accusation); I'll still hold on to my personal conviction and continue writing worth-reading hubs.

Thanks, Arian. Most of us believe the same thing. This is a user-friendly application(HubPages) that can generate a very good passive income if we contribute meaty articles.

Romano, I love HubPages. It's a wonderful site that allows us to participate at whatever level we choose. Hubbers write all types of hubs from fiction to virtual white papers. Styles abound from academic to whimsical. Hubbers can even spend most of their time posing and answering questions or participating in contests. What's not to love?

It's a boon for creative people who also want to social network.

That's great, JSParker. Knowing that we share the same sentiment, there will be always room for success here at HubPages.
